51 years old Sheren Tang (鄧萃雯) acts as a mother in Mainland China drama, April Star (繁星四月) and abusing the daughter becomes the hottest discussion in Hong Kong. She accepts an interview from China media and says: "Although I act as a bad foster mother, but I wish to think of the main perspective and thoughts from the role character. I do not really mind about the role characters but not without any meaning such as keep harming people and fighting. I hope the audiences will establish the same consensus and hope they will reflect and have consolation after that." Sheren does not mind acting as mother as they are noble.
Asking if she is worried about getting old, Sheren feels everybody must accept this stage and invites her old classmates for celebration upon turning 50 years old. When asked about returning to TVB, Sheren says: "TVB has been approaching me but I want to have less hardship and cannot stand it if insufficient sleep. Health is most important and hectic work schedule is no longer suitable for me."
