Mainland China actress, Yang Mi (楊冪) wins The Best Female Main Actress award based on the movie, Fatal Countdown: Reset (逆時營救) (2017) starring Wallace Huo (霍建華) and her during the WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival. The movie theme is based on sci-fi and Yang Mi acts as a single mother with high IQ in 2025 and she tries to change the incident and turns the time back to 1 hour and 50 minutes ago. It is the first sci-fi movie produced by China and considers successful. Yang Mi acts in many main roles and performs well.
During the thank you speech, Yang Mi expresses her gratitude towards the film producer, Jackie Chan (成龍) and the male lead, Wallace Huo: "The movies produce by China is getting recognised in international standard and hope we have more chances to interact and produce more good films."
