Actor Joel Chan (陳山聰) attended the worshipping ceremony of The Alliance (同盟) series and when mentioned about being the 'matchmaker' between the rumours related to Ruco Chan (陳展鵬) and Nancy Wu (胡定欣), he replied he must collect red packet from them and their rumour started after filming A Fist Within Four Walls (城寨英雄) series.
Joel expressed he will congratulate them if they were indeed dating as they were a beautiful couple and Ruco had been single for a long time and needed some love nourishment. Asking if he had confidence in their relationship, Joel said: "They are a matching couple. No wonder Ruco rejects to exercise with me as he has appointment with Nancy." Joel added he filmed 1 vs 6 people scene on that day and needed to make sufficient preparation as lots of stamina was required in the series: "Jujitsu and fighting. My suit is wet after that and I cannot wear it anymore as it shrink."
