Actor Ruco Chan (陳展鵬) attended the worshipping ceremony of The Alliance (同盟) series and when mentioned about using 'ancient method' to describe Nancy Wu (胡定欣) and the film producer, Jazz Boon (文偉鴻) talked about his rumours, Ruco replied he knew ancient method and Chinese medicine."
During an interview, Ruco denied wooing Nancy and asking if he felt embarrassed upon seeing her, he said: "Nope as we are experienced people. Everyone assumes we are a pair from filming A Fist Within Four Walls (城寨英雄) to The Alliance series. (Keep a distance from Nancy in order to protect your romance?) You know I have weird character and prefer alone if thinking about something. I will become like that when working but our relationship is fine." He added he established chemistry with Nancy through working.
When asked if they had more workload after filming A Fist Within Four Walls series, Ruco replied they went for stage performance together. He disclosed the filming for The Alliance drama started 4 to 5 days and there was many action scenes including intimate scene with Nancy: "The intimate scene resembles to playing Judo. (Sacred of touching Nancy?) Nope. We are professional artiste and it is a fun and active filming. Nancy can be the bodyguard."
